What software were you using when the K3 was put into the low power mode? If your software is using the K22 enhanced command set and sets low power using the enhanced command (PC###N where N=0) the KPA3 is disabled. The solution is to use the same software to reset power to more than 20 watts (PC0201) or use CONFIG:KAPA3 to enable high power (PA nor). Longer term, application software should avoid the enhanced K2 CAT command mode or always use the set power command with "1" as the final digit (e.g., PC0101 to set 10 watts) to avoid disabling the KPA3. 73, ...
