Yes I know about the almost finished state before FCC regulations changed and RoHS was introduced. And if this had not happened, they may well have seen the light of day. To this we can agree. However based on the last two years of K3 craziness, the panadapter development work and so on, as well as my reading between the lines (Aptosology is a bit like Kremlinology back in the 70s) of public and private mails, I get the gut feeling that the KPA800 & KPA1500 amps in their *current* state won't come to market. I would not be surprised if Elecraft in the medium to distant future has reworked/redesigned QRO amplifiers in their product range.
