If you are only using one speaker on your K3, you are missing out. The K3 sounds better with two speakers and the SPKRS menu set to two. Even normal (non AFX) audio sounds better with two speakers. I like AFX set to Bin, but delay as also great. Try it, I think you will like it.
I had two old 4 1/2" speakers I picked up at a yard sale. They had good size magnets so I gave them a try. They sounded OK. I then built two speaker cabinets out of 3/4" MDF. I made the outside dimensions approx. 6 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 10" deep, the same depth as the K3. I painted them satin black to match the K3. The speakers sounded much better in the cabinets and they look good also. Saved $200 and I think they sound better then the Japanese speakers in the metal cabinets.
