The bezel screws are in separate envelopes as called for in the manual. That was done to avoid mixing up the VFO A screws with the LCD cover screws. Someone decided to put the 2-56 standoff screws in a separate envelope as well. If the standoff screws are going to continue to be supplied in a separate envelope, it will be noted in the assembly procedure, just like the others. I built a K3 for my club a couple of months ago and had the same problem. I found some screws in my "can o' screws" that were the right size and used them. Then I found the screws I should have used.
