Now I see what you are talking about Drew. I never paid attention to these settings other than LCD Brightness and Back light Brightness. I am not sure what your reason for turning the back light off might be. If you are operating in sun light I don't think that you can see the back light on the LCD with a setting at 2 and the current drain is small enough that I don't detect it on my power supply ammeter. I have never tried to operate my K3 outdoors and I am simulating it by aiming my 75 watt desk lamp at the LCD, but that looks OK to me. Is that a possible work around for your?
