Good Evening,
Weather has been steady this week, very unusual. Fairly warm but Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday will be hot with temperatures near 100 degrees. The
fire crews have been driving by twice a day for the last week. Fire danger is
rising rapidly.
I took about a day to straighten out the antennas. Both of the HF antennas
were brought down last winter and have been limping along on temporary repairs.
Now they are both up again and free from limbs. One of them is in an inverted
V configuration while the other, longer one, is a flat top doublet at ~70 feet
favoring E-W propagation. Tomorrow I will flip between them so I can work more
of you. The solar wind is down a little but who knows what will happen
tomorrow?

Please join us tomorrow evening.

      Kevin. KD5ONS
