Dear me, what a huge amount of BW over cosmetics. S/N 679 has had the factory knobs since new and I have had no issues to date. I spent a few minutes checking it out today and they are aligned on th shafts correctly, rotate without any discernible wobble etc and are firm on their shafts. I rather like them as they compliment the overall appearance of the K3 and help give it the unique look and feel I want. I for one do not want my K3 to look like a bits and pieces radio or resemble a rice burner rig. Congrats Wayne, your design is fine with me I don't see a need for aftermarket knobs or for that matter a custom set made to order. Just give me Hi/Lo Cut fine tune adjustment and I will be a very happy camper...:-)
