------------------------------ I was taught to place my arm on the table to avoid "glass arm" and it works. I've transmitted continuously for hours as a military NCS that laying my arm on the desk was the only way to avoid glass arm syndrome (that I knew about). This is an interesting topic. I suspect it's several different ways to accomplish the same thing, as there are usually several good solutions to a problem.
