Color me stupid, but I have not come up with a way to change bands / modes on a band efficiently, I am sure someone has or does this all the time, would appreciate some input. Read before answering because I do know how to change bands and modes, but not in the fashion I would like to.
Example: single receiver. VFO A = 14025 Split with VFO B 14027 I wish to go to another DX pileup on SSB VFO A= 14.195 split with VFO B = 14200 And switch back and forth to monitor/ call either freq to work the DX. How can this be done simply to swap between those two modes and freq sets? If I use the Band button I can go between bands to monitor a pile up on another band, how do you do this on one band? Also needs to remember the freq you are using, IE: if you tuned the split to 14205, and switch to CW, when you come back to SSB needs to be the last freq you used. This is easy peaszy on all my other radios using band stacking, its just a press of the 14mhz band button, once for the CW and once for SSB, and they remember the last tuned freq. Seems I am missing something easy here on the K3?
