I have a second K-2 with the Z10000 buffer installed and intended for use with a panadaptor. (I hope this is the correct term. LP-PAN?) I have never used this particular option, but am familiar with the scope in the IC 756 PRO 111 which is superb. I wonder if the panadaptor Elecraft is introducing this weekend will be compatible with the K-2 as well as the K-3? Also, will a separate monitor be required or will the unit include a display? Fankly, if I wanted to control or monitor my rig with a computer I would buy the Flex radio. If the option includes a display and is compatible with the K-2 I might be interested. Thanks.
