That's a question for the author of your software. The K3 will indicate "split" (in the "IF" data) when transmitting on VFO B and receiving on VFO A. The logging software should then record your transmit frequency from the response to the FB; (VFO B freq) poll and log the receive frequency from either the FA; (VFO A freq) or IF; (Operating Frequency). In Elecraft's CAT implementation, the frequency reported in the IF; data does not change between transmit and receive when in split mode. I don't have access to a Kenwood rig for comparison. The fix lies entirely within your software. 73, ...
