The logging software can acquire the VFO B frequency at any time by issuing the K3's "FB;" command.
It might want to do this when you're in split frequency mode, which is indicated in the response to the IF command. This might require some input from your logging program's author. Is there any way to tell my logging software the frequency of VFOB?
