The FM filter is the best AM receive filter I have! I always use it on broadcast band. I have never transmitted FM. If I had to choose, I could do without the AM filter. I would give up ESSB, only used it to test a couple of times and AM transmitting which I have not done yet. I would still be able to experiment with those modes by telling the K3 that the 13 KHz filter was 6 KHz.
