Please don't hand a LID the keys to the kingdom, Kevin. If someone you
didn't hear was already using the frequency, sure you should QSY the net.
That's why you list the frequencies as "approximate".

I can absolutely guarantee you that there is no Ham band where some LID
won't say you should never operate. But you should never take their advice.
That's why we call 'em LIDs. 

Some will eventually learn and join the rest of us, and chuckle over their
LID days of the past. 

Others don't.

Sorry I was not on for the 40 meter net.  As I was getting started a very
loud signal informed me I should not use the frequency and then proceeded to
QRM me.  I thought it best not to continue.  I am not sure if we should use
40 meters again for the Elecraft net if folks like this want it off the air.
