Please don't hand a LID the keys to the kingdom, Kevin. If someone you didn't hear was already using the frequency, sure you should QSY the net. That's why you list the frequencies as "approximate".
I can absolutely guarantee you that there is no Ham band where some LID won't say you should never operate. But you should never take their advice. That's why we call 'em LIDs. Some will eventually learn and join the rest of us, and chuckle over their LID days of the past. Others don't.
