The SSB adaptor is very accommodating. All the mic you mentioned can be used with it. Perhaps, you should do some experiment. I used HM36 before, it suits my voice.

I have a Yeasu MH31 dynamic mic, and an Icom HM 36 Electret condenser mic which are listed in the manual. Any thoughts at which would perform the best? But I also have a Icom IC SM5 Electret condenser with a built in amp., which I would prefer to use but it is not listed.
