I have used the MC-43S as well as several others, finding many too high or too
bassy...... after a lot of experimentation, I now use the Heil Classic 5 with
the W2IHY EQ/EQPlus combo and have very decent audio..... The K2 can be very
fussy about the mic you try and use. I found that by trial and error, you will
find the best mic for your K2 and none are alike so have fun and experiment
