No need to use VOX when you have a serial connection to your K3 for firnware
updating. Just download the K3 XML file from
http://www.w1hkj.com/xmlarchives.html and save it to the fldigi files
folder, go into the configuration and select the RigCat option, select this
file, set the com port and baud rate and select RigCat PTT. Click Initialize
and you should see the frequency and mode come up on the Fldigi display. If
so, you're good to go.
