Yes. About five years ago, while still in Chicago, I bought a half dozen different inexpensive Plantronics headsets and made connector adapters to use with my radios. I used them with my K2, TS850, and 746, and they all worked very well to the extent that they produced excellent, competitive ham audio. BUT -- their form factor wasn't great, so I never fell in love with them, and none found a home in my shack. There are a few paragraphs in an appendix to the RFI tutorial about how to power them from a computer or ham rig. >I actually worked K9YC during the contest ... As I recall, you sounded good, but I was pretty toasty by then -- it was the last few hours, and I think I called you Greg. :) Oh well -- at least I recognized your call. I should -- we've worked at least a half dozen times in contests. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
