G4AON's dual receive involves a K3 with the KXV3 option and a K2 as a secondary receiver (See http://n2.nabble.com/K3-dual-receive-without-KRX3-td679079.html#a679079). It requires a transverter option, KXV3, for the K3 - which I don't have - but I do have it for the K2, the KXV60. With my setup it would be nice to do the opposite, i.e. let the K2 be the primary rig, but I suspect that it is not possible since the K2 does not have the RX ANT IN/OUT on the KXV60 as the K3's KXV3 has. But my question to the group is, can I do dual receive with the K2 as the primary transmitting rig? ----- Sverre, LA3ZA K2 #2198, K3 #3391 http://www.qslnet.de/member/la3za/K2/mod.html LA3ZA Unofficial Guide to K2 modifications -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/K3-owners-that-have-built-a-K2-tp4205894p4206310.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
