Licensed in 1958 (I really was a youngster then), I have had the pleasure of owning a lot of different radios over the years, the last 3 were FT-1000D, FT1000Mp3 MKV and a TS-480 ....loved all of them. However, in my humble opinion, none compare to the K3. My only criticism, which Wayne has promised to address soon, is the inability to manage memories via software. Other than that, the K3 is my perfect radio. Thanks to all on this reflector in helping me to get familiar with this amazing radio over the past few weeks.
