I have one in the main rx. I got it on the grounds that I would use it in contests when running, setting the bandwidth to about 800 Hz. to catch off-frequency callers. In fact I find that 400 Hz works best, because there are usually loud stations close by! It's nice to have, but not as essential as I'd thought. -- Vic, K2VCO Fresno CA http://www.qsl.net/k2vco/ ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
