I'm in the process of picking out the K3 options I want but I don't understand what the KTCX03 is for. This radio will be on my desk at home and used generally an hour a day during the week and possibly several hours a day on weekends. I primarily operate cw. How desirable/necessary is this option in my environment and what is the purpose of the KTCX03?
