Hi, For regular CW and SSB operation, the standard master oscillator is more than adequate, believe me. I regularly check my frequency against WWV at 10MHz and I am never off by more than 2Hz. The high stability option is mainly of use to those who use special digital modes requiring extreme stability and accuracy.
