I used one for the for first time in Haiti during the EmComm support for the Univ. of Miami hospital in Port-au-Prince. The V1 performed beyond my expectation for a simple, quick to deploy antenna. We used it on HF Freqs from 4 to 14.300Mhz, 2 Meters and on the GMRS frequencies.
