I hadn't looked at the Perseus before but before I would spend 1200 bucks on one, I would spend 1449 for another K3 and add 139 for the KBPF3 General Coverage Banpass Module - 1588. Well worth the extra 389 to me to have another K3 instead. Now I have two REAL radios.
