Good Evening,
I am feeling very relaxed. Maybe it is exhaustion :) Today was the first
non-snow day for quite some time. I enjoyed the sunshine by cutting, hauling,
and stacking wood. I do have some splitting to do but I don't think I can
stand up that long! I feel muscles which have not spoken to me in ages. I
think we will have long discussions for the next few days. Hopefully my
fingers will allow me to run the net tomorrow. You will be able to tell their
condition I am sure!
Propagation was under fire all week. Seems the sun was actively zapping the
ionosphere but this may have ceased for the moment. Normally CMEs which hit
the earth reinvigorate the ionosphere to the point where conditions are better
for a time. During the solar doldrums we have had these were the only times of
moderately improved propagation. The solar stream hits and there is a lot of
noise. Once the ions have equilibrated somewhat the reflectivity of the
Heaviside layer improves. Now is a good time to test this hypothesis.

Please join us tomorrow evening.
