Absolutely. I do not like resistance on my station radios (or VERY VERY little) (some required for mobiles) and they work just GREAT because I set them that way in the beginning. I like exactly what I have. I spin with the tip of my finger lightly against the front surface of the knob and would actually prefer it completely smooth.
