I am using the 1500hz Inrad. As mentioned, you have to use the shift to make it work for SSB.
It is only needed for extreme close-in QRM, as I find the 2.7khz filter along with the DSP is fine for everything else. I rarely have needed the 1500 for SSB, but I like it for wide CW tuning. The K3 DSP is pretty good, and you may be wasting your money adding a 2.1, 1.8, or 1.5 unless you run into really strong close-in signals. I rarely do on SSB. -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/2-1-kHz-filter-K3-tp5024771p5024921.html Sent from the Elecraft mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
