I don't think the new mix has solved the problem. Maybe it has improved, but not cured. I had to replace the rotary encoder for the Width control. When I put the front panel back together I noticed the inner AF knob was split. I super glued it back together and tightened the setscrew just enough to grip the shaft. So far so good. I was tempted to replace to two inner knobs with some beautiful black anodized aluminum knobs I have but didn't want to change the original look of the K3. I think these knobs are from Alcoknob.
