I currently use an older model 2-meter mobile transceiver (on the desk) for
local repeater contacts, etc. It's getting tired and will probably need to be
replaced before long. Can anyone tell me what advantages there might be to
installing the K144XV 2-meter module in my K3, as opposed to just getting
another (less expensive, higher output) dedicated 2-meter transceiver?
