Craig, Philippe and the rest of the gang, I also upgraded last week and I can confirm Craig´s and Philippe´s comments.The K3 simply sounds much nicer, warmer and less annoying and especially SSB, which was quite unpleasant to my ears(and yes,I played around with the settings many hours),is now far better than my back up Icom 761 with JPS NIR-12 DSP.
