Wow . . . Thanks for all the replys in such a short time. I now feel comfortable in trying some of the USB to Serial cables. I have the required Elecraft cable in place on my computer in the shack, and in fact have the extra components to make up a second cable. I'll make sure that the USB to Serial adapter will be plugged into the computer end. Thanks to all that replied. 73: de KD2JC/Joe
