Ladies and Gentlemen.... I just got my K3 back from Aptos. I had some issues with the unit that were repaired and all the mods were put into place.
Things have changed for my AFSK setup and wonder if others are seeing this. I am now having to drive the SignaLink USB full TX to get any ALC indication on the K3. In addition, my LINE level is now at 58 and it just goes to 60. Now, I am driving the K3 with the SignaLink USB through the LINE IN jack in the back and of course the audio is coming out of the LINE OUT. All seems to be working (even had an RTTY contact today), but it the change has been that I have to drive the K3 harder than I did before. Before, I used LINE OUT at around 45 and the SignaLink was at the 2 o'clock position. Is this what others are seeing with the newer models of the K3? Mine was upgraded to current production level.
