Hi All, I'm in the process of assembling the KI02 serial interface for my K2. So far, so good, but I see a potential problem coming up. Maybe I've overlooked something, but I don't see how the speaker gets re-attached without interfering with the aux. board. The speaker connector seems too long to allow the aux. board to seat fully.
The assembly instructions for the KI02 had me shorten the pins at connector P5 on the control board, to prevent shorting when doing the tests during assembly. Looking ahead in the assembly process, it simply says to plug the speaker connector back in, and that connector seems like it will impede seating of the aux. board. Am I missing something???
