My apologies -- I should have said  "makes no sense to me."  Even if the
voter had no polling information at all, and his vNM utility for Gore
was exactly equidistant between Nader and Bush, _and_ the voter tosses a
coin to decide whether to vote for Gore in addition to Nader, I still
don't see how you can claim that the voter is unable to influence the
election.
