I concur.  Electing candidates is related to enacting laws.  A law is
acceptable or not acceptable to a majority of the voters.  The same test
should apply for electing executive and judicial officers (which is why I
suggest having a YES/NO vote for such officers and Number Voting (1, 2,
etc.)).
