Does anyone here have information about how the Mexican Presidential Election might have turned out IF it had been conducted with something besides plurality winner? For example was there any pre-election polling data about voter preferences in 1-on-1 contests between the three leading candidates?
Would other methods have produced a different winner, or least demonstrated a broader consensus for the winner? (Giving due respect to the usual caveats about doing what-if with real elections.) Are there any indications about the extent to which Mexican voters engaged in strategic voting? -- David Cary __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
