Maximized Ratings have been added (linear scale every vote so that its natural min and max ratings votes are instead the min and max allowed ratings). It turns out to have a few odd distorting affects.
http://bolson.org/voting/sim_one_seat/www/ http://bolson.org/voting/sim_one_seat/zoomout/ I've also added a javascript widget at the top of the page to show and hide the methods for easier comparison. There's a linear falloff utility function run in the works with utility equal to 1-r instead of 1/r. For ranking methods it shouldn't matter but for rating methods and rating->Approval conversion strategies I'm guessing it will stretch and compress the space in some ways but basically maintain the same blobs. Reminder: Source distributions here: http://bolson.org/voting/sim_one_seat/dist/ There is a public read-only subversion repository, check it out with: svn co http://bolson.org:9080/voting/voting/sim_one_seat/ Brian Olson http://bolson.org/ ---- election-methods mailing list - see http://electorama.com/em for list info
