That's elegant. That should allow some voters to truncate the clones along
with other candidates.
Woodall's criteria are that cloning a winner (i.e. a candidate with some
positive probability of winning) can't help (i.e. increase the probability
of winning) any other candidate, and cloning a loser (i.e. not a winner)
can't alter any win probabilities at all.
(The reason for the discrepancy seems to be that if two clones tie, and
you clone one of those clones, the other is typically hurt, and that
probably doesn't bother us.)
