Sorry about the lack of clarity
Under XP
I can start electricBinary-8.11 from windows explorrer just by double
clicking on the jar file. When I double click on electricBinary-9.00.jar I
get no reaction at all. I'm running jre6u22-windows-i586-s

start Electric 9.00 and what (EXACTLY) do you see by way of error messages
