Thanks for all these great answers, I am trying the suggestions and have uncovered some interesting information online.
http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/science/009/ I've tried a couple of amplifiers, and when I turn them up high, I can still only feel a faint tickle between the electrodes on my tongue, and the voltage measured is under one volts, Could this be to do with my amplifier? The resistance? I've also tried using an AC adapter backwards linked to a multimeter, apparently mains adapters are okay, I think perhaps the alternating current of the speaker cable is blocked somehow due to the DC component of the AC adapter ? It's probably best to only use an old hi-fi powered by an AC adapter linked up to the battery compartment. This would prove safe. You can then plug in an auxiliary input into a sound card and have a safe hi- fi solution. I will keep on searching for a way to feel some current from an audio amplifier.+to thank everyone, I will make an electrosex stimulator synthesiser with a programme like simsynth. Thanks!
