CoreAVC is commercial decoder for H.264 streams for win32 systems its known by its good performance and stability. recently it has been wrapped so it could run also under linux, using mplayer or xine. (http://code.google.com/p/coreavc-for-linux)
unfortunately, I didn't find any wrapper or decent H.264 codec for gstreamer - the framework that elisa is based on. are there any plans to make elisa play movies using this codec or any other win32 codecs, either by implementing gstreamer wrapper or using mplayer inside elisa? leo
