are there any plans to make elisa play movies using this codec or any
other win32 codecs, either by implementing gstreamer wrapper or using
mplayer inside elisa?
In the particular case of win32 we are looking at the codecs now.
It's a complicated issue because we have to be very careful to avoid
infringing any patents or IP.
But probably you are talking about supporting it on linux and not on
win32. The most logical way to go would be implementing a gstreamer
wrapper so not only elisa but also all the other projects that use
gstreamer can use it in their applications.
