Hi, Well if you use Elisa system-wide it will always be in english anyway because the compiled translation files are not installed, there's a bug on Launchpad about that:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/293645 But in the case where the .mo files were correctly installed and that there was some for your langage, only setting LANG should be enough.
