Hello, I hope I've found the right place to report this bug -- anyway, we're using a NTSC-based camera although we have the PAL model of the WinTV USB2. We are trying to use the composite input -- on Windows, this works and displays "Ext1" as input source.
Under Linux, just "Television" and "S-VHS" are available as input sources. Using the composite adaptor cable and trying "S-VHS" results in a white garbled screen in e.g. mplayer and xawtv. Do we have to use some initializiation magic to tell the chip to use the composite lines from the S-VHS input? Or are we missing something else? We're using the latest experimental tree and modules from mercurial. Any pointers to further information would be much appreciated.
