Hi Charles, If you could send me a patch for the Makefile.in and (if need be) configure.in that would be great. I unfortunately have no access to machines to test these.
For the bytecomp segfault, I have no idea. That sounds different from the error you were getting before (autoreleasepool, etc.) so I'm wondering if it just results from changes in compilation flags (which should be fixed) or something else?
