Not at all, but then, if tumme.el is really going to be integrated
into Emacs soonish, I'll stop changing thumbs.el and concentrate on
tumme.el.

Yes, I agree there are things in thumbs.el which don't seem generic
enough to be worth the effort of maintaining them in an Emacs package.
