Hi all,

As of a recent commit on the bugfix branch, I've been added as the
maintainer of org-colview.el. I wanted to introduce myself here before I
start contributing in earnest.

A bit about my background: professionally I'm a PHP developer, and my
specialty is refactoring legacy codebases. Elisp is a different world
from my day job, but the refactoring instincts — untangling state,
narrowing scope, making behavior testable — carry over, and that's the
angle I'm bringing to org-colview.el.

My plan for the near future is to focus on refactoring org-colview.el,
so you should expect a fair number of commits from me touching that
file. I'll do my best to keep changes well-scoped and reviewable rather
than dumping large patches all at once. I prefer small, focused commits,
and that's how I intend to work here.

This is my first time maintaining a file in Org / Emacs, so I would be
genuinely grateful for any guidance — both on the code itself
(conventions, things to watch out for in column view that aren't obvious
from the source) and on the maintainer role more broadly (workflow
expectations, anything I should be aware of).

Feedback on patches once they start landing — even blunt feedback — will
be very welcome. Thanks, and looking forward to working with you.

Best,
