Ok, I see. So I will re-iterate my proposal to ONLY EVER put the following items into pure space: - defuns [assuming they are not self-modifyiable] - byte-code Anything else should go into normal GC space, so we can avoid the potential headaches of keeping track of this pure space in various primitives.
