Okey, sorry, I didn't understand the thing you searched.
However, M-x flyspell-check-previous-highlighted-word RET seems to do
the job, isn't it?
almost, except that it doesnt seem to have the feature of adding corrected
words to the deabrev list... it also only checks the previous word rather
than the one under teh cursor, but even I can fix this with a line or two of
elisp code...
